Vehicles subject to type approval (cars, vans, motorcycles, mopeds, quadricycles) fall under the vehicles scheme. Electrically assisted bicycles and most e-scooters fall under other schemes (electrical equipment, batteries, sports goods); you determine from the product's regulatory status.
